Additional Information:
Dogs who show aggression on lead are not suitable for group training sessions. Please contact us prior to booking if you think this applies to you.

If you don’t see a suitable age group for your dog, please contact us. We may have others on a waitlist and could form an additional class.  We will do our best to accommodate you!

Our Smart Choice 1 programs are the perfect program for those puppies and dogs that have not trained with us previously.

The Smart Choice 1 program, is a starting place for dogs that have not completed any of our previous training programs.  We try to do our best to group puppies and dogs of similar a similar age.

These groups are:

13 weeks – 6 months
7 months – 12 months
Over 12 months

 Feel free to contact us if your dog falls outside the age group advertised and we will try to accommodate you.

This program is an essential step join our Smart Choice Skill Builder and Life Skills programs if you choose. They are designed to give your dog the essential foundations to become a happy and confident adult dog.

The Smart Choice 1 program covers things such as:

  • Good manners

  • Teaching calm

  • Games to teach your dog how to focus

  • Sit (if needed)

  • Drop

  • Stand

  • Stay

  • Leave

  • Give up items

  • Go to mat/bed

  • Reading dog body language

  • Dog-to-dog interactions

  • Appropriate equipment

  • Environmental enrichment

  • How to prevent problem behaviours

  • How to ensure vet visits are enjoyable
